BIOGRAPHY
“No problems, only solutions”
This young lady only made her encounter with electronic music in 2003 when she unpacked in London for her studies. She immediately got immersed in the inspiring underground scene the city has to offer but it wasn't until her 20th birthday that she thought: “Now or never”. In 2005 she learnt to play the decks at her mates' house and on renowned Malfaiteurs sound system.
Half a year later in 2006 she becomes the youngest resident Dj for Nuclear Free Zone, the legendary club night of Stay Up Forever's Liberator Djs run by Aaron Liberator. She makes her first club residency experience and successfully introduces the rougher and harder sounds with her 'tough' style. She holds the residency until the end of 2009.
In 2008 she starts getting interested in the technical aspects of the music and starts acquiring some studio skills. The same year sees her take her music all the way to Tokyo in Japan where she performs at the famous Colors Studio and at the Module Club for the Mass collective, renowned Techno posse in Tokyo. She also makes it over to Belgrade in Serbia where she collaborates in the studio alongside the notorious Concrete Djz.
Her first releases see the light of day in 2009, as a collaboration with DDR leads the way. She also establishes her label, Cesirias Records, with much support from her peers.
The adventure continues in 2010 as she relocates to Vienna and is picked up by Criminal Bookings as the first female on their roster with numerous international gigs. With many new projects in the making and ever new skills to acquire the future can only hold exciting new adventures.
She has released her music on Soundattack, Armatura Bonus, Extreme Forces, Cesirias with more to come, and has taken her music to the following countries: UK, Japan, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, France, Croatia, Italy.
The musical interests of Miss Kosmix reach far beyond her performance style. She is also involved in other musical projects such as Downbeat/Hip Hop and Drum and Bass.
Most recently she has been concentrating on a new Techno project at a slower tempo under the alias Orpha Castles. Some of this work will be released but most will be used for a new Live Act 'THE 4MATTERS LIVE' with partner Michael Hammastik, a project set to appear in 2012.
